ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/SALES & SERVICE MANAGER, NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Distrikt is looking for a friendly, design-conscious individual who can help create new business by finding new clients and nurturing existing ones, manage invoicing, make sales calls & visits, etc. The likely candidate would feel comfortable dealing with small & large brands (especially within the streetwear, action sports, music, and services industry), and be able to maintain an inspiring level of personal motivation. This is a commission based position, with no limit to potential growth. This means that a highly committed Account Manager will have much success receiving our generous per-project commission.
Job requirements
- 4 year degree in Marketing, Design, Sales, Business Management or equivalent
- 2+ years experience in Account Management or sales-related position
- Keen familiarity of design services, including honest and pleasant sales techniques
- Understanding of industry and ability to identify potential clients
- Stylish graphic design sensibility
- Excellent personal, e-mail, and phone communication skills
INTERNSHIP
Distrikt Creative Agency is hiring an intern to serve as Administrative & Design Assistant to the design studio. This would be a great opportunity for students or graduates in the fields of Design, Marketing, Administration, Illustration, or Business Management. Duties would include such tasks as editing images, communicating with clients via e-mail, preparing requested documents, submit grant proposals, occasionally package & ship merchandise, help hang & install art exhibits, follow-up with clients and other miscellaneous errands & duties. You would be telecommuting/working remotely from home (using your own computer), but the ideal Intern would need to be able to meet occasionally. STREET TEAM
Distrikt is looking for a few dedicated and bright people to help spread the word about the collective and keep our work moving forward. You'll have the opportunity to learn the inner workings of an independent design studio and assist with an underground marketing effort in your local town. As part of your initiation, you will be sent a package full of stickers and promotional items that you can distribute in your area. If you're interested in helping out, send an email and tell us why.
